About The Yetee

What is The Yetee?

The Yetee is a website like no other. We work with incredibly talented artists and partners from around the world to produce amazing creations. We aim to celebrate shared experiences in the worlds of gaming and pop culture with everything we produce. Most apparel and print items are actually produced at our warehouse in Aurora IL. 

We are an artist owned and operated company, so our focus is always on creating bespoke, hi-quality items. We love to collaborate with creators from other fields and provide them with top-tier merch for their respective fans. You can check out some of these collaborations here in our Collections section.

Okay. What’s the website all about then?

We launched the website in 2011 with a simple goal: Offer limited edition t-shirts, designed by artists from around the world. Since then, we’ve expanded to offering collectible toys, pins, mugs, vinyl, and all kinds of other fun stuff!

We offer two new limited edition designs everyday! Follow us on Twitter and Instagram or sign up for our Daily Email to stay in the know. In addition to that, we have The Yeteemart, where you can find cool stuff all year round and our record label, Yetee Records, where we publish physical editions of popular video game music and video game adjacent albums.

Limited Edition? So once something is gone…

It’s gone!

Our limited edition t-shirts, which are designed by radical artists from all over the world, are usually only available for 24 hours!

Once the timer runs up, that’s it, and we move onto the next limited t-shirt!

If you don’t see a design up for sale as our daily deal, or in The Yeteemart, then there’s nothing we can do. The Yetee takes a firm stance on bending the laws of time and space.

So when do the new limited edition t-shirts go up?

New designs go up on our site at 12 midnight Central time (1AM Eastern, 11PM Mountain, 10 PM Pacific)!

There’s also a fancy little timer up on the daily deal part of the site that tells you how long until the current design is gone and the new one comes in!

Ordering

How much do your shirts cost?

Our 24 hour limited edition designs are $18 plus shipping. Once those 24 hours is up they're gone for good, so be sure to come back every day to see what new designs we have available!

Yeteemart shirt prices vary per shirt and stock is limited.

Help! I found the design I want, but it’s out of stock in The Yeteemart!

If the item is out of stock in The Yeteemart, never fear! We’ll restock it.

But these things do take some time, so if you don’t see the item get restocked right away, rest assured, we’re on the case!

If an item is in stock, but a certain size isn’t selectable, that means the specific size is out of stock. Never fear! We’ll reorder those too!

Want to be notified when an out of stock item or size becomes available again? Sign up for an email restock notification in the product record!

What's with all the Pre-Orders?

Sometimes we start taking orders for our cool and unique items before they arrive at our warehouse. We like to call these Pre-Orders!!

As Pre-Order items can have longer wait times, the anticipated ship dates will be noted on their respective pages and/or order confirmation emails.

Typically, any order with both Pre-Order and In-Stock items will be held and shipped together when all items are in-hand and ready to be dispatched.

Alternately, an item will have a long Pre-Order date, so we will ship all other items on the order separately.
If that is the case, the Pre-Order item will have a note reflecting this.

Waiting for your entire order to ship can be a bummer! If you don't want to wait for your entire order to ship complete, we suggest placing two separate orders: one for Pre-Order items and one for In-Stock items.

Can you combine orders?

We cannot combine orders across multiple days.

If you order something, then realize you wanted something else bundled with it, the best way to remedy the situation is to make a new order with everything you want in it, then contact us at help@theyetee.com to cancel and refund the first order. It also helps to double check your orders before you place them!

Can I cancel my order?

Of course!

Our printing times usually happen soon after the sales end though, so be aware that in some instances your order might already be on its way. We also understand that things can come up, so if you need to cancel an order, email us as soon as you can at help@theyetee.com so we can jump on it!

I'm receiving a Shipping Location error at checkout!

Some of the items we sell in collaboration with our awesome Licensing Partners may have restrictions on where they can be sold and shipped. This may be the case if you are receiving an error at checkout that says: "The item you added doesn’t ship to your location. Remove it to check out, or contact the store."

These items have the following restrictions:

Bomberman, Contra, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Ultraman are available to be purchased and shipped worldwide except Asia.

Astro Boy, Mega Man, and Monster Hunter items can be purchased and shipped to destinations within North America only.

Godzilla vs Kong
is only eligible to be purchased and shipped within the US. We are unable to sell and ship to destinations outside of the US.

I typed my address wrong or used the wrong address!

No worries! We’ve all taken the Typo Turnpike to Mistake City from time to time.

Please contact help@theyetee.com as soon as possible with your order number and correct address so we can, hopefully, update the address before it ships.

If you entered the wrong country, there may be a charge to get it sent to the right place. In this instance, you’ll have to let us know where to send the item and pay the actual cost of shipping, or we can refund you.

Why was my super-duper limited edition item order canceled?

We reserve the right to limit quantities for any item per order. We want everyone to have a fair chance to purchase our limited edition items. Wholesale style orders placed on limited items will be cancelled.

Can I place a Wholesale order?

Please contact help@theyetee.com for further assistance regarding Wholesale orders.

Payment

Is my credit card info secure?

Your Credit Card payment is handled through Shopify Payments - where your payment information is very secure. Your card information is not stored on our servers at all.

Do you accept Paypal?

Yes, we accept Paypal as an option for payment.

Do you also accept Apple Pay?

We sure do!

Amazon Pay?

Yeah, we accept that as a payment method too!

What about gold and treasure?

Well… if you can find a way to make an online purchase with gold and treasure, we’re very happy for you, but our current website doesn’t handle that option.

Maybe someday, we’ll accept payments like the privateers of old.

Printing

What kind of shirts do you print on?

We typically print on 100% ringspun cotton for solid color tees and a cotton/poly blend for heather tees. They’re soft, breathable, and as gentle as the Yetee’s fur.  Daily tees are typically printed on Tultex, while Yeteemart items are printed on either BellaCanvas or Next Level.  Shirt brand is usually determined by color availability, and we may have to substitute in another brand due to garment color availability. We’re sorry, but you cannot request a particular brand for a design.

Heather blend shirts are typically a cotton/poly blend, which are the same line of shirts, but with just a bit of poly to give them a textured look.

There are some times when certain color shirts just aren’t available as ringspun, so we use 100% cotton shirts as substitutes. Brands may also change based on stock availability, but we keep quality and style consistent.

Our 100% cotton shirts are preshrunk, but they will still shrink a tad when washed. For best results follow the directions on the tag, and remember that heated washes or drying cycles will cause shirts to shrink.

Shirts are made by hand, so there is a +/- tolerance of an inch on sizing. If you are between sizes, order up for maximum satisfaction!

Do you offer Larger sizes?

The Yetee tries to offer larger sizes of shirts, such as 4XL – 6XL, when possible.  However, there is a very limited selection of colors available in those garment sizes.

Please note: the printed image dimensions are universal across all tee sizes. On very small tees, the images may take up most of the chest. On larger size tees, the image may appear much smaller than in the mock-ups online.

How do you print your shirts?

We print our tees using industry standard screen-printing processes at our Yetee Base Alpha in Aurora, Illinois.

Some items may use new techniques like DTG or Sublimation, and will be noted in the item description.

How long does it take for your shirts to get printed & shipped?

Our team does their best to have orders printed and shipped within 5-10 business days.

Can I get my own designs printed?

At the moment, we are not accepting any outside print jobs.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We ship shirts almost everywhere!

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated in the cart by Deep Thought (and weight/size).

Typically: Continental US Shipping starts at $5.50 per garment, while AK, HI, PR, Guam, etc costs a bit more.

Shipping to the Rest of the World starts at $7.50 per garment.

Once you add your items to your cart, it should calculate shipping for you!

Posters, sweatshirts, and other heavier objects will cost more to ship.

Signature Confirmation, what?!?

Domestic shipments over $90 will be shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority and will require signature confirmation for delivery.   Nobody likes packages with super rad limited edition items stolen off their porch, amirite?

Where is my order?

You’ll get a helpful email from us letting you know that it has shipped, and if you live in the US, tracking information will be included in that message.

Shirts ship out 5-10 business days after the sale ends.

US delivery is between 3-5 business days from the date of shipment.

If an order is taking longer, please verify that the item you ordered doesn't have special pre-order notes on the item page or within the order confirmation email.

Additionally, shipment transit times have been severely impacted due to Covid-19.  Please be aware that shipments will currently take significantly longer to reach their final destination especially if they are odd-sized like poster tubes.

Do you ship Internationally?

We do!  However, International transit times vary by country, with the average being 3-6 weeks once the order has been shipped from Yetee HQ. However, these transit times are not guaranteed.  Some International destinations may take less time for delivery and some take longer for reasons that are outside of the Yetee's control.

International transit times have become severely impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak.  As international flights are canceled, shipments to destinations outside of the US are becoming extremely delayed.  Please be aware of this when placing an international order.

South America and tends to have longer transit times due to customs in their regions.

If an order is taking longer, please verify that the item you order doesn't have special pre-order notes on the item page and or within the order confirmation email.

If you received a shipment confirmation email and the package has not yet arrived, please check with your local Postal or Customs office to see if they are holding it.

If all else fails and your package still hasn't arrived within 6 weeks, please reach out to Customer Service as soon as possible.

Do you offer shipment tracking for International Orders?

International orders with Standard Shipping will get an email once the order has shipped from our warehouse outside of Chicago, IL, but tracking is not possible once the order leaves the US.

However, the Yetee does offer a Delivery VAT/Duty Paid service to select countries that includes shipment tracking and collects and pays the anticipated customs fees up-front!  This service must be selected at checkout for it to be used.

Special notes regarding International Shipments:

Some international countries will have added taxes, duties, and VAT. This is the buyer’s responsibility, so make sure you know and understand your country’s import rules before purchase!

Shipping to the UK

As of January 1, 2021, the UK requires that online retailers outside of the UK collect and pay VAT and Duties for shipments into the country. Because of this, UK customers can only select our Delivery VAT/Duty Paid service which automatically includes tracking!

Shipping to the EU

As of July 1, 2021, the EU requires that online retailers outside of the EU collect and pay VAT and Duties for shipments into any of the 27 member countries. Because of this, EU customers can only select our Delivery VAT/Duty Paid service which automatically includes tracking!

Can I use a freight forwarder for shipping?

We reserve the right to cancel any order shipping to a freight forwarder.

If we do ship your order to a freight forwarder, the responsibility for that order is transferred to the forwarder upon delivery to the customer supplied shipping address. Once delivered to the forwarder, The Yetee is not liable for any incurred damage or future loss.

Can I pick-up my order?

Yes! Illinois customers now have the option to pick-up their order when it is ready at our Downtown Aurora retail location, SUPERJUMBO! When the order is ready to go, you will be sent an email notification with pick-up details. SUPERJUMBO is located at: 102 E Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL 60505. Hours: Wed. through Sat. 12p-7p and Sun. 12p-5p.

My Poster shipment is missing or has not moved!

We (and many other retailers) are seeing unprecedented delays with US Poster tube shipments. Because the USPS has to process these packages by hand, they are often given low priority due to staffing shortages. We are well aware of the situation and are working with our shipping partners on finding viable solutions.

Returns, Exchanges, or Damages

Do you have a Return or Exchange Policy?

You bet we do!* If you ordered the wrong size, item, or if you are just not into what you received, it can be sent back for an exchange or refund.  Please contact help@theyetee.com for further instructions. Additionally, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

All Returns or Exchanges MUST be unworn, unwashed, unassembled and in new condition.

We’ll know.

*Due to the nature of the format, digital items or physical items that come with a digital download code cannot be refunded.

Help, my order arrived damaged or I recieved the wrong item/size!

Not cool at all…Did your order arrive damaged because of a manufacturing defect or shipment mis-handling?  Did you receive an item that was different than what you ordered? We get it, accidents happen. Reach out to Customer Service with your order number and a photo of the damaged, wrong item, or wrong size, and we’ll take care of you.

I bought a shirt 3 years ago, can I return it?

No. All returns must be made within 30 days of the date of delivery and must be unworn and unwashed. Be sure to include your order number in the subject line of the email!

Artists

Who designs all your awesome tees?

All of our designs come from incredible artists all over the world! They submit their designs and we put them on shirts!

Want to submit your own designs? You can! Just click the ‘Submit’ button in our navigation bar and follow the instructions!

What do the artists get for printing with you?

Our artists get paid $2.25 per shirt sold, and get up to 3 free shirts of your design based on requested garment type.

We typically only print one run of shirts, so the artist retains the rights to the design after the sale is over.

Do you provide feedback on my submission?

Due to the volume of submissions received, we are unable to provide feedback on any artwork designs.

We’re The Yetee!

A group of awesome people that primarily work out of Aurora, Illinois, but we’ve got rad peeps all over! They're kind of like secret agents, only we told you about them, so they aren't really secret, and this isn't an agency. 

Where are you?

Our base of operations is located in beautiful Aurora, Illinois. Not too far from the Gasworks, and close to Stan Makita’s Donuts. Sadly, we’re not right down the street from Jimmy Johns anymore.

Do you have a policy on privacy?

Yes, we do. The Yetee will never rent, sell, or otherwise share your information with any third party.

Of course, this excludes the sharing of your shipping address with one of our shipping providers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Asendia) in order to ship out your items. This guarantee also excludes transmitting your credit card information (fully encrypted) to our credit card processor in order to process your payment.

These two exceptions are necessary for any transaction to take place on any website where any physical product is being sold, so rest assured that nothing nefarious is being done with your info.

How do I sign up for the Yetee Cryptid Club?

Signing up is easy! Simply create an account by visiting here and
enter your name, email, and password. It’s free to join and you will
automatically be signed up to receive emails with insider access to
sales, promotions, and all of our newest drops. If you currently have an
account or email subscription with us - you’ve already been enrolled in
our rewards program so you can kick back, sign in, and start earning
Points!

What are the Advantages of the Yetee Cryptid Club?

Our rewards program is a tiered program that allows members to earn
more perks the more they engage with us. Members receive reward points
for each purchase, which can then be redeemed towards the cost of future
purchases. 

You also earn points for sharing with friends, following us on social media, leaving
and are even gifted with bonus points just for having a
birthday!

In addition to earning points, members have the chance to earn exclusive access to coupons, launches, promotions, giveaways, and more. You can view

I already have an account. Do I need to create a new one to earn rewards?

We took care of that for you! All customers with an active account were
automatically enrolled in our rewards program. If you have had more than
one customer account with us, please note that only one rewards account
was created per person.

Where can I find all of my rewards account info?

The rewards page is your roadmap to all your points and perks. You can access all your info by visiting our rewards page.

Will I receive points for purchases I made prior to creating my rewards account?

You will receive points for purchases made before creating your
rewards account but only for purchases made after the launch of the Yetee Cryptid Club.

To use your points, make sure to create an account before placing an order
so you can use your points!

I bought something, but I don't see my points in my Rewards Dashboard. What Gives?

Customers earn points for every order; However; the points are not usable until your order is fulfilled/shipped.

What if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and want to combine my accounts & earnings?

Contact customer service by emailing help@theyetee.com and our team will be happy to assist you with merging your accounts.

How do I redeem my points?

Exchanging your points for great rewards couldn't be easier! Simply visit the Rewards Page to view all of our great reward options and
click the 'Redeem' button to redeem your chosen reward.

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?

Nope!  That’s the best part about being a rewards member!  You will
always have an opportunity to earn more points by shopping with us,
engaging with our brand and community online, and through seasonal
sales.

Do points ever expire?

Your points will expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity
includes not interacting with our program i.e., redeeming points,
placing an order, etc
