The Yetee is a leading direct to customer online retailer known for creating bespoke and exciting apparel/merch for video games and other pop culture. Since 2011, we’ve offered new tee designs daily from our amazing artist community. Our audience returns every day to see the new designs. Alongside that we’ve curated excellent relationships with indie-game partners like Stardew Valley, Celeste and Darkest Dungeon— as well as partnerships with AAA game studios like Capcom, Konami and Bandai Namco. We produce so many amazing items and we need your help to make sure our customers know about them!
As the Junior Content Creator, you will play a key role in the delivery of important marketing to our subscribed audience via the website feed, email newsletter, sms messages and other owned marketing communications. Working closely with a team of other marketing professionals, artists and designers you will share our latest releases with the dedicated fans of our unique merchandise. You will also be a key element in the production of assets for our marketing team. Working closely with our artists, designers and products you will produce the much needed visual elements for our marketing campaigns and online store.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing language, experience with email campaign toolsets and a passion for creating engaging content in the video game and pop culture space.

Responsibilities
- Compose, edit and schedule the daily, weekly and adhoc email newsletter campaigns.
- Arrange and maintain the homepage feed layout using the established theme and toolset.
- Generate and organize audiences for our direct to customer marketing campaigns.
- Evaluate and update the website features with new products and suggested items.
- Collaborate with our Marketing Team to develop, implement and launch loyalty program campaigns.
- Write, edit and schedule SMS and Multi-Message campaigns for product launches.
- Develop content for our blog and other marketing team members.
- Create graphics using provided templates, assets, fonts and style guides.
- Maintain the database of all completed works and source files for projects.
- Design and layout collection pages for our products using provided assets and templates.
- Assist the marketing department with social media post scheduling as needed.
- Collaborate with our team on planning, developing and launching marketing campaigns.
- Engage and cultivate the community in our artist discord.
- Communicate your work with your team, via daily standups and at video meetings.
Requirements - As this is a Junior Role, training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Proficient written and spoken English communication skills are required for this position.
- Communication Skills: An understanding of how to effectively communicate products over different formats and media.
- Writing Skills: Creative and strategic writing with an ability to innovate and adapt messages over multiple formats.
- Basic Image Editing Skills: Adobe CC skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, image editing and experience in laying out provided assets in images or on platform tools.
- Web Platform Skills (Newsletter/Blog): Comfortable or familiar with editing text, images and layout in web platforms.
- Time Management Skills: Strong and independent time management capability in remote settings.
- Market Knowledge: An understanding and experience with video games and pop culture.
Preferred Skills and experience
- Experience in a community management position, communications sector, or relevant experience is highly recognized.
- Knowledge of ecommerce and marketing platforms: eg. Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Yotpo, etc.
- Other experiences in video game community management, social media management, or marketing are a major plus as you will be more knowledgeable of our audience and the products we produce.
- Familiarity with community-driven marketing and an ability to leverage fan engagement in promotional strategies.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, with additional certifications in digital marketing or brand management.
Compensation
This is a permanent position. After completing a probation period
- Remote/Onsite Full-Time Salaried Position (40H/Week)
