BLUE TENTION ' is a short CD compilation series by Miobell Records, an independent label based in Tokyo. It compiles songs from Japan and abroad with the theme 'If your heart is crying, your tears will surely be this color. ' This is the first record in the series and contains a total of 12 songs, including 7 selected songs from the 4 short CD releases so far, and 5 new songs.The album features five works from overseas by The Style Council (UK), Gracie Abrams (USA), Meiko (USA), The Yearning (UK) and Mei Semones (USA), and seven works from Japan by Nomiya Maki (ex. Portable Rock, Pizzicato Five No. 3), Kurosawa Kenichi (ex. L R, MOTORWORKS), Kuki Kodan, Swinging Popsicle, advantage Lucy, PLECTRUM and Lily Shrimp.

Nine of the 12 tracks are being released on record for the first time * and all of the tracks have been digitally remastered for recording.
