Since releasing his debut album The Journey in July 2023, Sicilian guitarist Matteo Mancuso has garnered significant attention in the music scene. His innovative fingerstyle technique and genre-blending compositions have been praised by American guitar legends: Steve Vai described him as "the future" of electric guitar, while Joe Bonamassa noted, "I've never seen anything like it".

U. S. publications have also lauded Mancuso's work.
